Manufactured from 1.4571 stainless steel and a special ceramic, the IP68 sensors are steam proof and can therefore undergo sterilisation processes, which are required in medical technology and many pharmaceutical and food applications. Thanks to their compact design with a length of merely 45 mm, they are suitable for small containers, unlike vibrating fork sensors which are often used in such environments. KGFT-CER sensors are operated with a KK 030 or KU 120 amplifier unit, which allows easy adjustment to the medium.
