Samson expands production in India

In June, Samson India opened its new production facilities in Ranjangaon in the Maharashtra district. About 3.5 million euro were invested in the 18,000-m²-large facilities to ensure an optimum supply of the fast-growing Indian market. During the opening ceremony, Hans-Erich Grimm, head of the sales division at Samson AG, pointed out that six chemical and petrochemical sites will be established in India thanks to the support of the Indian Government in the next few years: "A total of 250,000 million US dollars will be invested in these sites. We expect a huge demand for our products and services in India."

Samson has been active in India for 20 years, employing over 120 members of staff in production, sales and service. In the new facilities, control valves, positioners, self-operated regulators for pressure, differential pressure and temperature as well as differential pressure meters for industrial processes are manufactured. Our customers in India from the chemical, petrochemical, food and beverage industries include BASF, Evonik, GEA, Inox, Linde, Lurgi, Uhde, IOCL, Tetra Pak, PRAJ and Thermax.
