Cimeka offers application-oriented solutions with sealings, moulded parts and o-rings of FFKM (Perfluorelastomer). Almost universal resistant against all chemicals – with exception of flour containing compounds and alkali metals – FFKM can be applied in critical environments of organic and inorganic acids, alkaline substances, ester, alcohol, fuel and hot water. The resistance against oxygen, ozone, atmospheric influences and ageing shows the fullness of the possible fields of applications. FFKM has – depending of the type – also an extreme high thermal stability combined with a temperature stability of +250 respectively +320 °C. During long-term stress appears a softening instead of a characteristical hardening The low loss of weight under high-vacuum among high temperatures also characterises FFKM. Unfavourable are the low cold resistance (-10 °C) and the high rest of deformation that appears among temperatures below +150 °C.
